Denny Chapman wins division at Georgia CMSA

Denny won the men's #4 division on Saturday, August 2nd in Gaineville GA competing at the Peach State Cowboy Mounted Shooting event held at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center. He was there promoting his sponsors, Suncoast Bedding and Mane N Tail. Above is a photo of Denny promoting his sponsors at the SASS mounted shooting event in Ocala July 26.

Trick Riding Student!

One of my Cowboy Mounted Shooting students, Amanda Cook, is also taking Trick Riding Lessons with us! Here are a few pictures of a recent practice session on her horse "Bandit" - the same horse she uses for CMSA competitions. It won't be long before she is showcasing her new talent on the road. Denny Chapman wins in New Smyrna Beach!

Denny won the Pro Class, Rifle Class and Team Jackpot (with his 13 year old mounted shooting Student Amanda Cook of Summerfield FL) while representing his sponsors SUNCOAST BEDDING and MANE N TAIL products at the Florida Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association's sanctioned competition in New Smyra Beach FL July 11-13. Denny Chapman at the Behlen CMSA Classic, Lazy E Arena - Guthrie, Oklahoma

We finished four days announcing the Behlen Country Classic CMSA event at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie Oklahoma yesterday. It was an exciting event and I had the honor of emcee'ing the event, during which several new world records were set. Two of my young mounted shooting students, Mandy Cook and Dennis Uricola, of Summerfield FL finished very well with Mandy winning her class and a huge Montana Silversmiths trophy buckle! Denny Chapman on 3-week clinic/performance tour of Central Kentucky!

We just returned from our Central Kentucky tour with 6 successful events under our belt, good memories, new business contacts and a new horse! Above are a couple of pictures of Ballou San Badger, a 6-year-old foundation-bred American Quarter Horse. Thanks to Dave Witt and family of Corbin Ky for making it possible for "San Man" to come home with me! He's a great horse and I think he'll fit well into our entertainment and mounted shooting program. He will begin learning some new disciplines such as trick riding, roman riding, mounted shooting, liberty and various tricks. We'll keep everyone up to date on how he's coming along. I'm sitting in the airport terminal in Orlando waiting on my flight to Oklahoma to announce the Lazy E Classic in Guthrie on behalf of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association this weekend. I'll be on the mic for 4 days, then back to FL for a couple of months to work on training horses and riders for mounted shooting competition around the country. Our mounted shooting clinic in Lexington last Sunday grew from an original 15 people to 45 attendees! Thanks to John Bizzack for hosting the clinic on his beautiful Bittersweet Station Farm.
