We recently had a nice visit from Dominic and Alex, who got to know Dusty pretty well after a riding lesson. The boys are the sons of Deseree Hermann, a professional equine entertainer who is well known for her high-schooled Lippizans and Andalusians. We'll be heading up to the Aiken SC area next week to film some new Mane N Tail commercials, then on to Equifest in Lake Helen FL the following weekend. After that, we serve as emcee for the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association's National Championships in Tunica MS, then onto the Central Florida Fair in Orlando to perform some specialty acts. Gonna be a busy April...

Denny Chapman wins again...

Denny Chapman won the Mounted Rifle Shooting match and the Pro-Class jackpots at the Bike Week Blowout Cowboy Mounted Shooting event in New Smyrna Beach FL March 8-9. Besides being a successful equine entertainer, journalist and television host, Denny is an avid mounted shooting competitor as well as a successful mounted shooting horse trainer and clinician. He is also on the announcing staff of CMSA for the "Big 4" competitions and can be heard on the mic at Eastern, Western, National and World Championships of mounted shooting. Denny Chapman named Eastern U.S. Champ...

Denny Chapman was named Eastern United States SASS Mounted Shooting Champion yesterday after two days of competition in Williston FL. He also won the "Extreme Stage" which involved shooting while negotiating jumps and other challenging obstacles. He walked away with two buckles, a trophy saddle rack, a desktop trophy, two plaques and a prize vest. "I enjoy representing my sponsors at these events. Mane N Tail made sure I had the best looking horse out there." In addition to being an accomplished equine entertainer, Denny is highly involved in the sport of mounted shooting as a trainer, clinician and competitor. Denny Chapman successful in Marianna FL - Cowboy Mounted Shooting!

Denny was Reserve Champion at the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Southeastern Regional Championship warm-up shoot last Friday, finishing 2nd out of 85 competitors in Marianna FL. He also clinched 3rd place in the Mounted Rifle Championships over the weekend, where he represented his sponsor, Mane N Tail products. Denny Chapman performs at Hoggetowne Medieval Faire!

We just finished 2 weekends of the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire in Gainesville FL. Here's a group photo with (L-R): Stepanie Cons and trick mini "Flea", Mary Rivers and "Imke" the Friesian stallion, Deke Rivers - whip artist, Me with "Dusty" and "Spanky", our friends Jen and Deanna with "Monte Carlo" and Paul Vance who helped us wrangle horses throughout the event. We'll be heading to the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Southeast Regional Championships this coming weekend in Marianna FL where we'll be competing.
