Denny Chapman emcee's Cowboy Mounted Shooting Nationals

We just returned from announcing and providing color commentary during 4 days of competition at the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association's National Championships in the Paul Battle Arena and Expo Center in Tunica MS. What a great facility! All the amenities for several thousand competitors under one roof, including 2 arenas and warm-up areas. This weekend, we're performing at the Central Florida Fair in Orlando - then on to Augusta GA to film a new Mane N Tail commercial, and a high-stakes mounted shooting competition in Port Charlotte FL. Denny Chapman at Equifest 2008!

We just returned from a successful appearance at Equifest in Lake Helen FL. Denny opened the show by singing an acapella version of the National Anthem mounted on Spanky, performed his popular "Surfin' Cowboy" specialty act and made a suprise appearance with the Florida Mounted Shooting Association by demonstrating his mounted rifle shooting skills. The seats were filled with standing room only on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Denny signed hundreds of autographs at the Mane N Tail booth. Next week, we fly out to Tunica MS for the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association National Championships to serve as emcee once again. See you down the trail!

Denny Chapman to headline Holiday with Horses!

Denny has been chosen to perform the headline specialty act for Holiday with Horses, an equine performance program to benefit the Marion Therapeutic Riding Association. We've performed in the past for MTRA benefit, such as Symphony of Horses, and look forward to performing for a sold-out crowd at the Canterbury Equestrian Center in Newberry Fl December 20! We're off to Equifest in Lake Helen FL this weekend, where we'll be performing our famous "Surfin' Cowboy" act as their feature entertainer! The following weekend, we'll be on the microphone as emcee of the CMSA National Championships, then performing at the Central Florida Fair the next weekend, THEN...we'll be shooting some new Mane N Tail commercials GA the last week of the month. Of course, we'll be representing Mane N Tail, our prinicipal sponsor at all these events and can't wait to have some Wild West Fun!

We recently had a nice visit from Dominic and Alex, who got to know Dusty pretty well after a riding lesson. The boys are the sons of Deseree Hermann, a professional equine entertainer who is well known for her high-schooled Lippizans and Andalusians. We'll be heading up to the Aiken SC area next week to film some new Mane N Tail commercials, then on to Equifest in Lake Helen FL the following weekend. After that, we serve as emcee for the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association's National Championships in Tunica MS, then onto the Central Florida Fair in Orlando to perform some specialty acts. Gonna be a busy April...

Denny Chapman wins again...

Denny Chapman won the Mounted Rifle Shooting match and the Pro-Class jackpots at the Bike Week Blowout Cowboy Mounted Shooting event in New Smyrna Beach FL March 8-9. Besides being a successful equine entertainer, journalist and television host, Denny is an avid mounted shooting competitor as well as a successful mounted shooting horse trainer and clinician. He is also on the announcing staff of CMSA for the "Big 4" competitions and can be heard on the mic at Eastern, Western, National and World Championships of mounted shooting.
