We had a great time at the Florida Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association event last weekend in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Three days of exciting competition at the Silver Sands Bridle Club arena. We performed with our trick horses and competed as a new shooter, finishing 12th overall out of 60-something competitors. We also tried the rifle match, which requires you to ride your horse off your legs while shooting targets with a lever-action rifle.
